COUNTY FAIR DISCUSSED AT CHAMBER BREAKFAST:The Greater Dade City Chamber of Commerce recently held a business breakfast at the Pasco County Fairgrounds, where members of the Pasco County Fair Board and staff outlined the programs and entertainment that will highlight this year's fair, which will be Feb. 18-24 at the fairgrounds in Dade City. Matt's Family Jam from Nashville entertained at the breakfast. The chamber would like to thank the Pasco County Fair, Mary Beth Lumbra from Heritage Park (who supplied the food), Matt's Family Jam and all the volunteers and supporters. SURTERRA GRAND OPENING: Surterra Wellness hosted the official grand opening of its newest Surterra Wellness Center at 4218 U.S. 19, New Port Richey. Surterra, a national health and wellness company with operations in Texas, Nevada and Florida, offers a portfolio of cannabis brands to patients and consumers, and projects to have 25 dispensing locations throughout Florida by mid-2019. TIMBER GREENS ADDS GPS TO CARTS: Timber Greens Country Club, which recently received a 98.5 rating on Golf Now, recently added GPS systems to its new fleet of golf carts, and made online tee times available using a mobile device or computer. The GPS-integrated golf carts map the course and provide yardage information, displayed on a screen in the cart. The new carts also have two USB charging ports, padded seats and internet radio. BURLINGTON COMING TO WESLEY CHAPEL: Burlington Stores announced it will open a new store at Cypress Creek Town Center, 25589 Sierra Center Blvd., Wesley Chapel. The 32,200-square-foot facility is expected to open in the spring of 2019, and will be the 52nd Burlington location in Florida. The store offers a variety of merchandise, such as coats, clothing, footwear, toys, a Baby Depot with furniture and accessories, home decor and gifts.
