MVHS celebrates opening of Oneida medical office

Mohawk Valley Health System hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Nov. 30 to celebrate the opening of a new medical office at 131 Main St., Suite 103.

Dialysis and lab services also will be provided.

Oneida Medical Office providers Andrea Finocchiaro, DO, and Kristy Russ, MS, NP-C, are accepting new patients of all ages.

AmeriCU assists members affected by government shutdown

In light of the current partial government shutdown, AmeriCU is reaffirming its dedication and commitment to member service by reducing the financial burden of the furlough on its members.

Second Chance Thrift Shoppe to close

Second Chance Thrift Shoppe of CNY Inc. will close after a going out of business sale.

The thrift shop lost its lease, according to a news release, and will be closing permanently after eight years.

A final sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, will offer customers 70 percent off products. The release also stated that everything must be sold, including the shelving.

No credit card sales will be allowed; only cash or checks.

It is located at 5111 State Route 20 West.
